Barnum Ecological Nature Zone Inc. is organized exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes as specified in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code. Our purpose is 1) to support and conduct educational activities to increase public awareness of the forest environment, 2) to provide charitable services to help preserve the forest environment, 3) to support and conduct scientific research and 4) to manage the preservation of acquired forest land.
Barnum Ecological Nature Zone Inc. (84-3110841) is exempt from federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501(c) (3). Donors can deduct contributions they make under IRC Section 170 . We are also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under Section 2055, 2106, or 2522. Additionally, we are registered with the Minnesota Office of the Attorney General iaw the Minnesota Charitable Solicitation Act, Minn. Stat. §§ 309.50-.61.
